P.S. My father was a tin can sailor as well (USS Hobson DD-464). I have a special place in my heart for tin can sailors!

Thanks

I am seeking to locate anyone who may have a Charles P. Cecil shoulder patch they would be willing to donate or sell to me for inclusion in a shadowbox I built for my memorabilia. During a recent move, I misplaced the spare ones I had. I served on the Cecil from April '68 until July '69 in the Signal Gang.

looking for info, I was on board the Sub Tender USS Fulton in New London, from '73-'76. A Destroyer occasionally tied up alongside. Was it the Cecil? If so 2 high school classmates were aboard. I'd like to know if it was the Cecil. It would solve a memory mystery for me.
